Pause







        Pause is a collection of photographs from projects I’ve worked on in the past three years.



The series reflects on connections between humans and nature, the intimacy and fragilities of youth and the awareness of presence and passage of time.  

It poetically approaches concerns over growing and the unpredictability of life and the analogue medium. There is a sense of creating images of memories and allowing desires of pausing moments and see the story these pauses can tell, and photography play the possibility of crystallising time.

The photographs are taken between Tuscany in Italy and London, in which are places where I have grown up moving around since the past ten years, maturing in me a sense of awareness over connections with places, stability, people, and nature.

The photographs are selected from colours and black and white negatives and printed analogically and digitally.
