The journey far from home
The journey far from home began with personal reflections on how being a young migrant from Italy to London shapes my identity, influencing my sense of belonging, sense of ‘home’ and my own culture.
My intention was to confront my own experience with other young people who moved from other countries to London, talking and listening to them.

Moreover I believed it was important especially in this period of radical political and social changes, to show and remember the uniqueness and importance of multicultural diversity present in this city and the great opportunities that freedom of movement between countries importantly contributes to the lives of young people.
